Platishine 10 Tables
PLATISHINE is a polyherbal formulation composed of standardized extracts of Carica papaya leaf, Tinospora cordifolia stem, and Psidium guajava leaf. It is designed to support healthy platelet function, improve immune response, and assist in the management of viral fevers and related thrombocytopenia (low platelet count).
Composition (Each tablet contains):
Carica papaya leaf extract – 350 mg
Tinospora cordifolia extract – 150 mg
Psidium guajava leaf extract (Guava leaf) – 300 mg
Indications
PLATISHINE is indicated for:
Supporting platelet count during viral fevers (e.g., dengue, chikungunya).
Immune system enhancement.
As an adjuvant therapy in the management of infections associated with reduced platelet count.
Hematopoietic support during recovery from infections.
Mechanism of Action
Carica papaya leaf extract has been clinically associated with improved thrombopoiesis (platelet production) and antiviral activity. It modulates cytokine levels and supports hematological recovery.
Tinospora cordifolia is an immunomodulator and adaptogen. It enhances the phagocytic activity of macrophages and improves resistance to infections.
Psidium guajava is rich in flavonoids and antioxidants. It exhibits anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and antimicrobial properties.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet three times a day or as directed by the physician.
Children: As directed by the physician.
Route: Oral
Duration: Typically 5–10 days or as prescribed during the course of illness or recovery phase.
